In Indian culture, women have been given the highest importance. It is said that son gets luck but daughter gets good luck.  Perhaps that is why for every parent, their daughter is very special.  But even today, in the whole world, a daughter i.e. a girl has not been able to get her full rights. Illiteracy was the reason behind the atrocities on girls since ancient times.  If our ancestors were educated, our condition would have improved manifold today.By providing a good upbringing for their children, educated girls can help to brighten their country's future. Education allows a lady to think freely. It broadens her perspective and makes her more conscious of her obligations. Education allows a grown woman to become economically self-sufficient. They will be capable of asserting their rights. Girls have equal access to education. In order to combat the problem of gender inequality, girls and women must be empowered. Rural females' education is equally vital.
